Vitamin Mojito Smoothie

A perfect day-starter for those who prefer a lighter breakfast. Imagine sitting in the early morning sun, slowly slurping this delicious, refreshing cocktail. A green, good-for-you cocktail!! You may even get tempted to add a cheeky little shot of rum… I will have to wait till the evening for mine – better start the day sober!! 😉

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 green pear
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 kiwi fruit
  • 1/3 cup pineapple
  • 1 dried fig or date
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon of seseame seeds (or any other seeds)
  • handful of mint leaves
  • handful of spinach leaves
  • 1/3-1/2 cup sparkling water

Method:

Prepare a blender or liquidiser. Peel and roughly chop all fruit, add lime juice, sesame, spinach, mint and sparkling water. Blitz all ingredients until completely smooth. Serve in a chilled glass. Cheers!!
